Ubisoft revealed the latest details about Tom Clancy’s The Division Last Stand expansion. the third expansion for the sci-fi/post-apocalyptic action game. They also detailed changs in the upcoming 1.6 update.

Last Stand is the third and final expansion planned for Tom Clancy’s The Division with the two previous expansions, Underground and Survival, having been released in 2016. Unlike the previous two expansions Ubisoft is not going to be limited exclusive for the PC and Xbox One. Both the Last Stand expansion and the 1.6 update will be available for the Xbox One, Windows PC and PlayStation 4 early 2017.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Last Stand expansion will be available to The Division Season Pass holders ($40), which includes all three expansions and DLCs or as a stand alone purchase. The 1.6 Update will be available for free.

Last Stand is the third and final expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division.

The Last Stand expansion will features new PvP and PvE aspects, new Dark Zone ares (7,8,9), larger Dark Zones, new PvP game model called Last Stand which supports multiplayer matchmaking for matches up to 8v8, plus a host of other new features and game play.

The 1.6 update that’s being release to coincide with Last Stand will be The Division’s sixth major patch and it will feature a wide variety of fixes and updates to work through some of the major issues with game balance, bugs and other core issues.

Update 1.6 for Tom Clancy’s The Division will address a number of game play issues, balance and bugs.

Specifically the 1.6 Update will include changes to skills and skill powers, PvP balancing, changes to the economy, rewards, armor, gear set and much more. There has been no announcement on the number of major updates/patches Ubisoft will release after this one considering the game is coming up on a year since its initial release.

There has also been no release date for Last Stand or the 1.6 Update but it is save to expect it sometime in the first quarter 2017. Survival, the second expansion and Last Stand were both delayed from 2016 to late 2016/early 2017 respectively so that Ubisoft could work on updates and bug fixes.

Another Tom Clancy game, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is set for release in March 2017 and is highly anticipated. A new walkthrough trailer of the single player game was just released this week. It’s a great sneak peak into what’s in store.
