Shortly after the official announcement of Resident Evil 7: biohazard last June at E3 2016 by Sony. Capcom released an official teaser trailer and game demo. The demo is freely available for the PS4 by anyone who has a PlayStation Plus subscription and is titled “Resident Evil 7 Teaser: The Beginning Hour”. The demo included a number of secrets and multiple endings that players in the community have discovered, some of which is detailed over at Eurogamers.net.

Since its initial release, The Resident Evil 7 Teaser: The Beginning Hour demo has been updated twice. First back in September Capcom released an update to the demo titled “Twilight” which included even more secrets and new mysteries surrounding the game’s story and lore. The second update to the demo was released earlier this month and titled Midnight. Much like the previous two releases there is a lot of unknown and multiple endings involved with the demo.

In addition to PlayStation 4 owners, the demo was also released for the Xbox One on December 5th and for the PC on December 19th

Resident Evil 7: biohazard is schedule for release on January 24, 2017 and will be available for Microsoft Windows PCs, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It’s also worth nothing that the PlayStation 4 version will also support VR through the PlayStation VR headset. The latest version of the demo, Midnight, supports VR via the PlayStation VR headsets.

The game marks the eleventh release in the popular series of survival horror games. The previous titled released was Resident Evil 6, released back in late 2012. That game currently stands as one of the most popular and well received games in the Resident Evil series.
