Ubisoft has released two Ghost Recon Wildlands walkthrough videos for their upcoming tactical shooter, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. The trailers, narrated by Wildlands lead game designer Dominic Butler, take viewers through a good portion of the single player component. The Ghost Recon Wildlands walkthrough videos show off loads of game play including using the tactical map, combat and interaction between Ghosts/soldiers.
The first Wildlands Single Player walkthrough is a extended or long version that runs just over 21 minutes in length, more than enough time for gamers to see most of the different game play features in store. The second Wildlands walkthrough video is a shortened version of the full walkthrough. It runs just over five minutes in lengh and is also narrated by Dominic Butler. Rather that go indepth on many of the screens and features the shortened version gives a brief overview of the game play. Great for those gamers who have trouble sitting through anything more than 5-10 minutes.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is open world tactical shooter and tenth release in the Ghost Recon series of video games. It is the first game in the series that features and open, sandbox style game world. It also marks a shift for the series away from the near future setting of the previous few titles in the series. The game will feature open outdoor environments with mountain landscapes, forest, deserts as well as urban environments making it one of the biggest game worlds design by publisher/developer Ubisoft.
The setting for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is Bolivia, players are a part of the elite special forces team simply called the Ghosts. Their mission is to bring down the drug cartels of Bolivia that have become increasingly powerful and now threaten the United States. The game is played from the third person perspective and features a weather system and day/night cycle. This makes the large outdoor environments all the more realistic and challenging. As mentioned the game is set in the present day and features weapons and equipment from current military forces. Players can also interact with non player characters making friends or enemies with them that can have different consequences throughout the game.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is scheduled for release on March 7, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
